Henrico County was founded in 1600, and what was once home to farm land and fields of tobacco, has grown and developed right up to the Goochland County line to the west, and is bordered by the James River to the south, and Three Chopt Rd to the east, closer to town. It includes all of the following areas that you may hear talked about: Short Pump, Glen Allen, Lakeside, Tuckahoe, Westham, River Road Corridor, to name a few.
