I was born and raised in Chesterfield County, and after a few years of moving up and down the East coast, I returned to RVA, living in the city, and finally landing in Henrico County, where I’ve been for many years now.

    A Bit About My Background

Cindy Bennett – Associate Broker, ABR, GRI, GREEN

I’ve been selling real estate full time since 2003. Before that, I trained as a goldsmith/ jeweler, graduated from VCU with degrees in English and Economics, owned a restaurant/ catering company, and an eco friendly retail business, to name a few. I’ve been, as they say, a butcher, a baker, and a candlestick maker. (Not really, but pretty darn close!)

Why do I share all of this? Well, because while nothing ever grabbed me the way real estate has, I learned so many skills in those adventures that help me help you. Not to mention the fact that I am one of the best jugglers I know. Ok, not literally, but I can multitask and wear many “hats” like a champ! Trust me, that is a must have quality in a Realtor®!) From analysis and negotiating to marketing, technology, and creative, out of the box thinking, I’ve got you covered.

What I Do for Fun in RVA

In my “spare time” I love indoor cycling, hot yoga, live music (I’m crazy for all sorts of music, from bluegrass and country to rap and everything in between), spending time with my son (in college now- go App State!), trying new restaurants and things to do in the Richmond area, and cooking.

I’d love to meet you, and learn how I can help you to reach your real estate goals. Let’s talk!

    An Agent You Can Trust

I am also a Google Screened Real Estate Agent, which means I’ve passed all their screening and background checks, so you can feel confident on your home buying or selling journey.  Watch the video below to hear what my clients are saying about working with me, or check out my reviews.

    Testimonials

Cindy did a great job helping me find the best house in my price range. She understood my non-negotiables and ensured I got the best deal as possible. I highly recommend her!

    RACHEL P.

Cindy was incredible from the very beginning of our home buying process. I literally had a page of questions for her and she answered them all. My wife and I could not have been happier with the process and house Cindy helped us find. She is extremely knowledgeable about real estate in general as well as local market trends and pointers. Cindy was VERY reliable, responsive, and willing to go above and beyond on several occasions during the process. We highly recommend Cindy and definitely found our Realtor® for life.

    Garat S.

Cindy has an excellent knowledge of the Richmond market and has fantastic negotiation skills. She is extremely patient and flexible in working with her clients. I would highly recommend working with her as a Realtor® and would definitely work with her again.

    Morgan A.

As always, Cindy was great to work with throughout the entire process of selling our house and buying another house. We have worked with her as our agent several times over the years, and she is always extremely professional, knowledgeable and hands-on. Cindy was highly responsive and worked very hard to ensure that everything went smoothly on both our sale and our purchase. She provided great advice and always had our best interest at heart. We highly recommend Cindy!

Cindy is a wonderful Realtor®. I was a single mom, purchasing my first home, and she walked me through every step of the process. She helped me get pre-approval, financing, and held my hand through a very long, closing process (due to gov’t changes). Throughout the whole experience, she provided incredible insight and professionalism. I got a great deal on my home and gained a friend in return. I’d absolutely recommend Cindy!

    Leigh O.

I 1000% recommended Cindy to be your representation if you are in the market to buy or sell a home. Cindy made herself very available to us when we were selling our home, answering questions, explaining the steps in the process, and guiding us on where our money would be best spent for the maximum return at sale. If you are looking for the best agent to be in your corner for your real estate needs, Cindy is the one.

    Kevin

We only had a few weekends in Richmond to find a home, and Cindy was very accommodating. She was patient and we felt unhurried when we were with her. Found a great home in a great neighborhood and still love it!

    Bridgit K.

Cindy is great! She knows what need to be done and doesn’t mess around. She helped me sell my mother’s house in record time. The inside was dated, and she helped me identify what needed updating prior to putting it on the market. She had names on the ready for good, reliable help to do the job. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would call on her again in a heartbeat!

    Angie G.

Cindy Bennett was the perfect choice! Moving an elderly parent is concerning on so many levels, and Cindy took the stress out of the house selling experience for everyone involved. I chose her for her professionalism, but was even more impressed with how she truly considered my mother’s concerns about the process; and with her genuine, down-to-earth demeanor, explained in real terms the expectations of the market, the individual buyer and how the process would play out. Cindy never failed to disappoint at every step, and the house was sold in less than a week! I highly recommend Cindy Bennett for your Real Estate Broker needs.

Cindy was fantastic! She helped me every step of the way with the process of buying my new home and then with selling my prior home. She didn’t hesitate to answer any of my questions. I know who I’ll call if I decide to buy or sell again.

Instagram post 🐕 Moving to Richmond with your pup? I’ve put together the *Dog Lover’s Guide to RVA*! 🦴 From cozy pet-friendly hotels to tail-wagging parks, daycare, boarding, and shops—you’ll find everything you need to make RVA feel like home. 📩 Drop a “Woof” in the comments and I’ll send the guide straight to you! . . . #rvarealtor #richmondrealestate #rvarealestate #homebuying #listingagent #homeselling #richmondhomes #buyingahome #realestate #richmondrealtor #movingtorichmond #richmondrelocation #relocatetorva Instagram post Whew! March was a whirlwind, and most of it great. Loads of things learned about Richmond, some great times with friends and family, lots of pottery (and even more pottery fails- but I’m learning!) The world is heavy right now, and I always struggle a little bit when it is cold and yucky outside, so I am more than ready for spring. Getting out and learning new things has definitely made the days go by faster, though. Looking forward to a wonderful April, and more days like today. Instagram post You know how you’re scrolling a listing and there are gorgeous photos of every room — and then... no kitchen? Hmmmm… You wonder. You raise an eyebrow. That’s kind of how I feel about award posts. They always feel awkward, and a little cringe. But, if everyone’s sharing them and I’m not, it reads like a missing kitchen. So: We had our awards dinner Wednesday evening, and I was tied for Top Producer at Maison Real Estate Boutique in 2025, and yep, I’m posting it. What I’m actually proud of is this — 31 buyers and sellers trusted me with something big last year. A first home. A downsizing. A fresh start. A long time coming. A huge move. A new chapter. That’s the part that means something. I’ve been selling real estate in RVA for nearly 24 years, and I still wake up every day genuinely excited to do this work. That’s not a small thing. And neither are the people who make it possible. If you’ve entrusted me to help you, your friends, or your family. If you’ve shared my name, shared my posts, my newsletter, or shared your talents to help me better serve my clients. Thank you. Truly. 🤍 Congratulations to all our agents, and honestly, to everyone who works hard, juggles a lot, and still manages to love what they do. I’ve got to say, it’s pretty freaking fantastic. 🫶 Instagram post If you know me in real life, you’ve probably already heard me talk about this one. I am absolutely in love with this place, and we are finally on the market! Offered at $650,000, this home sits on just under 7.5 acres, and this is not your ordinary, average, acreage. The drive for 2900 Pleasantwood is tucked into a culdesac at the back of the established neighborhood of Spencerwood in Powhatan. (So, no playing “Frogger” if you want to go for a walk, bike ride, etc. You’re not set off a main road.) While it’s only 20 minutes from Westchester Commons, it feels like you’re a million miles from the noise and stress of traffic, work, and anything else you’d like to leave behind when you arrive home. With a pond all your own, plenty of trees, Jones Creek running along the border, plus outbuildings for all the equipment and toys that come with country life, plus a chicken coop, you can move in and just start living! There really are no photos that do it justice. Just come see it for yourself!
